The short version. RadiusDocs sends SMS text messages only to people who ask for them by checking the SMS consent box on our contact form. Messages may be sent using automated technology. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to cancel. Reply HELP for help, or email support@radiusdocs.ai. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase and is never required to buy anything or to request a demo. Do not send protected health information (PHI) by text message.
1. About these terms
These SMS Terms and Conditions (the "SMS Terms") govern the RadiusDocs text messaging program (the "Program"). The Program is operated by [TO CONFIRM: legal entity name], which does business as RadiusDocs ("RadiusDocs," "we," "us," or "our").
By checking the optional SMS consent box on the RadiusDocs contact form and submitting a mobile phone number, you agree to these SMS Terms. If you do not agree, do not check the box. You can still contact us, request a demo, and use RadiusDocs without it.
These SMS Terms are in addition to our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If there is a direct conflict between these SMS Terms and the Terms of Service on a question about text messaging, these SMS Terms control for that question.
2. Program name and description
The Program name is RadiusDocs. It is a conversational and transactional messaging program for business contacts, prospective customers, and existing customers of RadiusDocs.
If you opt in, we may send text messages that include:
- Demo scheduling. Coordinating a time for a product demonstration, sending scheduling links, and following up on a demo request you submitted.
- Confirmations. Confirming a scheduled demo, call, or onboarding session.
- Reminders. Reminding you of an upcoming demo, call, onboarding session, or trial milestone.
- Customer support. Responding to support questions, following up on an open request, and letting you know when an issue is resolved.
Messages are sent from a standard ten digit long code registered for application to person messaging in the United States: [TO CONFIRM: sending phone number]. We use a third party messaging provider to deliver messages on our behalf. We do not use the Program to send unrelated promotional blasts, and we do not send messages to mobile numbers that have not opted in.
Sample messages
| Message type | Example |
|---|---|
| Demo scheduling | RadiusDocs: Thanks for requesting a demo. Are you free Thursday at 2:00 PM ET, or would Friday morning work better? Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. |
| Confirmation | RadiusDocs: Your demo is confirmed for Thu Aug 20 at 2:00 PM ET. Join link is in your email. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. |
| Reminder | RadiusDocs: Reminder, your RadiusDocs demo starts in 30 minutes. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. |
| Customer support | RadiusDocs: Following up on your support request. The chronology export issue is fixed and your file is ready in the app. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. |
3. How to opt in
You opt in by taking two steps on the RadiusDocs contact form:
- Entering your mobile phone number in the phone field.
- Checking the optional SMS consent box, which reads: "I agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from RadiusDocs at the mobile number provided. Messages may include demo scheduling, confirmations, reminders, and customer support. Messages may be sent using automated technology. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. View our SMS Terms, Privacy Policy & Terms of Service."
The consent box is unchecked by default. Checking it is entirely your choice.
Messages may be sent using automated technology. By checking the box, you agree that RadiusDocs and the messaging provider acting on our behalf may send text messages to the mobile number you provide using an automatic telephone dialing system or other automated or autodialed technology.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You are not required to agree to receive text messages in order to request a demo, start a free trial, buy a subscription, receive support, or use any part of RadiusDocs. If you would rather not receive texts, leave the box unchecked and we will contact you by email or by phone instead.
Checking the box on the contact form is the only way to opt in. We will not text a mobile number that has not been submitted through that form. Opt-in is affirmative and specific to the mobile number you provide.
4. Message frequency
Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on how you interact with us. For example, scheduling a demo may generate a short exchange of messages over a day or two, while an open support request may generate messages until the issue is closed. We do not send messages on a fixed recurring schedule.
5. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. RadiusDocs does not charge you for participating in the Program, but your mobile carrier may charge you for each message sent or received, and data charges may apply. You are solely responsible for all charges from your mobile carrier that result from your participation.
Check with your carrier if you have questions about your messaging or data plan. If you change your mobile number or cancel your mobile service, you agree to notify us so we do not send messages to a number that is no longer yours.
6. How to opt out
You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message you receive from us. We also honor END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, and QUIT.
After you send an opt-out keyword, we will send one final confirmation message letting you know that you have been unsubscribed and that no further messages will be sent to that number. After that confirmation, you will not receive any additional text messages from the Program unless you opt in again.
Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of email or phone contact, and it does not cancel a RadiusDocs subscription or trial. To change your email preferences, follow the unsubscribe instructions in any email or write to privacy@radiusdocs.ai. To cancel a subscription, see our Terms of Service.
Opting back in
If you change your mind, you can rejoin the Program by replying START or UNSTOP from the same mobile number, or by submitting the RadiusDocs contact form again with the consent box checked. Either action restores your consent for that number.
7. How to get help
Reply HELP or INFO to any message and we will send back a message with the Program name and contact information. You can also reach us by email at support@radiusdocs.ai.
Text messaging is not a monitored emergency channel. Do not use it to report an emergency of any kind. Replies may not be immediate, and we do not guarantee a response time by text.
8. Supported carriers and message delivery
The Program is available on most major United States wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless, Metro by T-Mobile, and Google Voice, as well as many smaller and regional carriers. Carrier support can change without notice, and some carriers may not support the Program at all.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. RadiusDocs does not guarantee that any message will be delivered, that it will be delivered on time, or that it will be delivered without error. Delivery depends on your carrier, your device, your coverage, and networks we do not control.
The Program is intended for recipients with United States mobile numbers. We do not support international messaging.
9. Eligibility
To take part in the Program you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be the subscriber of the mobile number you provide, or a person authorized by the subscriber to enroll that number.
- Be contacting us in a business capacity, since RadiusDocs sells to law firms, clinics, physicians, life care planners, and insurers rather than to consumers.
- Use a mobile number capable of receiving SMS text messages. Landlines and numbers that do not accept SMS cannot receive Program messages.
Do not enroll a mobile number that is not yours and that you are not authorized to enroll. If you enroll a number in error, or if you receive Program messages at a number you did not enroll, reply STOP or contact support@radiusdocs.ai and we will remove the number.
10. No protected health information by text message
Never text patient or claimant information to RadiusDocs. The Program is for business and scheduling communication only. Do not send protected health information (PHI), patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, claim numbers, diagnoses, treatment details, images of records, or any other identifiable patient or client information by text message.
Many of our customers are covered entities or business associates under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). SMS is not a secure channel. Messages pass through carrier networks and are stored on devices in ways neither you nor RadiusDocs controls.
The Program is outside the scope of any Business Associate Agreement (BAA) between RadiusDocs and a customer. When RadiusDocs processes medical records that a customer uploads to the RadiusDocs application, we act as a Business Associate and the signed BAA governs that PHI. The Program is different. It is ordinary business messaging, not a channel for PHI, and it is not covered by a BAA. Sending PHI by text puts that information outside the protections a BAA is designed to provide.
If you need to discuss a specific record, chart, or case, do it inside the RadiusDocs application at docs.radiusdocs.ai, or ask us to move the conversation to a secure channel. If you send PHI by text anyway, you do so at your own risk, and you are responsible for that disclosure. We will ask you to stop, and we may delete the message and continue the conversation elsewhere.
For details on how RadiusDocs protects records inside the application, including HIPAA compliance, our offer of a BAA on every contract, encryption of records in transit and at rest, and our commitment never to train AI on customer data, see our security page.
11. Privacy
Our handling of the information you submit through the contact form, including your mobile number, is described in our Privacy Policy. Please read it before you opt in.
Two points are worth stating directly here:
- We do not sell or rent your mobile number. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing under any circumstances.
- We share your number only to run the Program. We share it with the messaging provider and telecommunications vendors that deliver messages for us, and only so they can deliver those messages, plus any disclosure required by law. These vendors are bound by contract and may not use your number for their own purposes.
We keep a record of your consent, your opt-in and opt-out history, and the messages exchanged, which we use to operate the Program, provide support, and show compliance with applicable law. Questions about your data, including access and deletion requests, go to privacy@radiusdocs.ai.
Note that the Privacy Policy covers marketing and website data. It does not govern PHI that a customer uploads to the RadiusDocs application. That is governed by the signed BAA and the applicable customer agreement.
12. Your responsibilities and acceptable use
When you participate in the Program you agree that you will not:
- Send PHI or other sensitive personal information by text, as described in Section 10.
- Enroll a mobile number you are not authorized to enroll.
- Send unlawful, harassing, abusive, or fraudulent content.
- Attempt to interfere with, overload, or misuse the messaging service.
We may suspend or end your participation in the Program at any time, with or without notice, including if we believe these SMS Terms have been violated or if messaging to your number is causing delivery problems.
13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Program is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RadiusDocs disclaims all warranties relating to the Program, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RadiusDocs is not liable for any damages arising out of or relating to the Program, including damages from delayed, undelivered, misdirected, or intercepted messages, from carrier charges, or from your decision to send information by text. The limitations of liability in our Terms of Service apply to the Program.
These SMS Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [TO CONFIRM: governing law state], without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
14. Changes to the Program and to these terms
We may change, suspend, or end the Program, or update these SMS Terms, at any time. When we update these SMS Terms we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects your rights, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by text or by email before it takes effect.
Continuing to participate in the Program after an update takes effect means you accept the updated SMS Terms. If you do not accept them, reply STOP to cancel.
