I was sitting in my office reviewing an Independent Medical Evaluation when I looked down at a stack of medical records that exceeded a thousand pages.
For the next several hours, I did what physicians, attorneys, and insurance professionals do every day—scroll through endless documentation searching for the details that actually mattered. Buried somewhere in those records was the patient's story, but finding it required patience, experience, and an incredible amount of time.
Then I stopped and asked myself a simple question.
Why am I doing work that artificial intelligence could help me do?
That moment became the beginning of RadiusDocs.
As a physician, I wasn't interested in building another AI chatbot or flashy technology company. I wanted to solve a problem that I personally faced every week.
So I built a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform that could organize, summarize, and analyze medical records the way I naturally approached a case. Instead of spending hours searching through thousands of pages, I wanted the important findings, timelines, diagnoses, procedures, and inconsistencies presented clearly so I could focus on what actually required my expertise: medical judgment.
But once that worked, I realized we had only solved half the problem.
Reviewing records is only the beginning. The real work comes afterward.
Writing an Independent Medical Evaluation. Preparing a narrative report. Creating a life care plan. Drafting a demand letter. Building a medical chronology. Every one of these documents requires hours of careful thought and writing.
So we taught RadiusDocs how experienced professionals think.
Not how to replace them.
How to assist them.
Today, RadiusDocs can intelligently organize records and generate high-quality first drafts for many of the documents used every day in medicolegal practice. The professional remains in complete control of every opinion, every conclusion, and every final report—but instead of beginning with a blank page, they begin with a thoughtfully organized foundation.
The difference is measured in hours.
What started as a tool I built for myself quickly spread to colleagues. Physicians performing IMEs began using it to review cases faster. Personal injury attorneys discovered they could understand complex medical histories in minutes instead of days. Insurance adjusters found it easier to navigate large claims. Before long, RadiusDocs had grown into a platform trusted across the medicolegal community.
Our mission has never changed.
We believe experts should spend their time applying their knowledge—not searching through paperwork.
Technology should never replace professional expertise. It should remove the administrative burden that prevents experts from using it.
Every medical record tells a story.
Sometimes that story is hidden inside thousands of pages.
RadiusDocs helps you find it.
